The Ministry of Interior is participating in the security exhibition accompanying the joint tactical exercise for GCC security agencies, “Arabian Gulf Security 4,” hosted by Qatar from 30 January to 4 February 2026 at Qatar Mall.
The participation comes within the framework of strengthening Gulf security cooperation, exchanging expertise, and reviewing best practices and experiences in security awareness and prevention. It aims to support the security and stability of GCC states, underscore the importance of media and security awareness, and reinforce the principle of community partnership. This is achieved through showcasing interactive and awareness-driven content targeting various segments of society, promoting concepts of community security, prevention, and national responsibility, using modern methods and innovative communication technologies.
The participation includes contributions from the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture, which is presenting visual and audio awareness media content, cultural publications highlighting the history of Bahrain Police, and security awareness materials. A dedicated corner is also allocated for child awareness through Watani Children’s Magazine. In addition, the Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit, affiliated with the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, is raising children’s awareness of the importance of safeguarding their security, privacy, and safety in cyberspace.
Meanwhile, the “Maan” Programme is offering exhibition visitors an interactive experience through virtual reality (VR) technology, used to educate children on key preventive and awareness practices that protect them from exposure to violence, help safeguard them against the risks of addiction, and strengthen community partnership in crime prevention.
