The Capital Governor, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, visited the American Mission Hospital in Manama, where he was received by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr George Cheriyan, along with several hospital officials and physicians.
During the visit, the Capital Governor expressed his pride in the hospital’s distinguished historical standing as one of the oldest and most established leading medical institutions in the region, and in its professional reputation spanning more than 120 years since its establishment. He commended the hospital’s continued contributions to supporting and developing the healthcare system through the provision of advanced medical services to citizens and residents, as well as its role in enhancing public health standards.
The Capital Governor reviewed the hospital’s historical exhibition documenting its development since its founding, and viewed a visual presentation highlighting the hospital’s journey, as well as the programmes and initiatives it implements in the fields of training, education, and medical development.
