The Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan attended the graduation ceremony of several specialised courses involving personnel from the Ministry of Interior and the Bahrain Defence Force. The courses were organised by the VIP Protection Training Centre at the Directorate of Protocols and VIP Protection, in the presence of several senior officers and officials from the Ministry of Interior.
On the occasion, the Chief commended the support and attention extended by His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, towards developing human capital across various fields of work. He affirmed that this support forms part of the ministry’s development and modernisation strategy, implemented through plans and programmes aimed at raising training standards and strengthening joint cooperation with the entities delivering the courses.
He explained that the courses included lectures and practical applications designed to refine participants’ skills and equip them with new capabilities to meet the demands of the working environment, thereby positively reflecting on the efficient performance of duties and responsibilities, in pursuit of the highest levels of quality in line with approved professional standards.
The Chief also expressed his appreciation to those involved for their efforts in organisation and training, commending the distinguished work delivered, and urging them to continue advancing and exerting further efforts to enhance training performance and achieve the desired objectives.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chief honoured the course participants, wishing them success in their academic and professional careers. He also conducted an inspection tour to review the readiness of the Directorate camp.
