His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has launched a package of initiatives for the holy month of Ramadan, extending the successful " Majilat Al Khair 9" project. This follows in recognition of the remarkable achievements and positive results this package has yielded over the past years. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Director-General of the Southern Governorate Police Directorate Colonel Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, alongside senior officials.
HH the Southern Governor, emphasised the Southern Governorate's commitment to launching a series of community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan to strengthen the values of communication, solidarity, and cooperation.
He noted that the initiatives have achieved remarkable success, which has proven its active role in promoting the principle of community partnership, strengthening bonds of solidarity, highlighting the values of communication between members of the governorate's community and civil society organisations, and bolstering frameworks of cooperation and established religious and societal values.
He also viewed the photo exhibition, featuring a series of success stories from these initiatives since its first edition in 2018.
