As part of the General Directorate of Civil Defence’s plan to qualify engineering offices and specialists in the field of fire protection and prevention, the Directorate, in cooperation with University of Bahrain for Technology, organised an introductory lecture on the Kingdom of Bahrain Fire Protection and Prevention Guide
.
The lecture was attended by Director General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, with the participation of several government and private entities, in addition to a number of engineers and engineering and technical offices.
On this occasion, Director-General commended the vital role of the engineering sector amid the Kingdom of Bahrain’s rapid urban development, stressing the General Directorate of Civil Defence’s commitment to developing and updating the Fire Protection and Prevention Guide in line with these developments.
He noted that this contributes to strengthening the public safety system and protecting lives and property, expressing his appreciation to the cooperating engineering offices and highlighting their pivotal role in the practical application of the Guide’s requirements and in achieving the highest levels of safety and security in facilities.
