The Northern Governorate organised sports and health activities to mark Bahrain's National Sports Day.
Northern Governor Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al Madani affirmed that the National Sports Day reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to promoting sports and encouraging all to adopt healthy lifestyles. He expressed his appreciation for the generous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.
The Northern Governor expressed his gratitude to all participants and organisers, affirming the governorate's continued support for initiatives and programmes that promote public health, in line with its commitment to becoming a certified healthy governorate under the World Health Organisation's Healthy Cities programme.
