Major Fawaz Hasan Al Samaim, from the Anti- Cyber Crimes Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, participated in the third meeting of the Anti- Cyber and Information Crimes Committee of the GCC Ministries of Interior. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.
During the meeting, a number of topics listed on the agenda were discussed, in addition to reviewing periodic reports and best practices in the field of combating cyber and information crimes. The committee also issued several recommendations on the matters presented, contributing to strengthening joint coordination, integrating efforts, and enhancing the level of readiness to address the growing challenges in cyberspace among the competent authorities of the GCC member states.
