His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Chairman of the Security Committee, chaired the second Security Committee meeting of 2026 to review security readiness ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
HH the Southern Governor praised the coordination among security authorities and emphasised implementing instructions of His Excellency Minister of Interior, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to enhance safety and stability across the Governorate.
Discussions focused on Ramadan security preparations, including precautionary measures on main roads, at mosques, markets, and public facilities, as well as ongoing traffic safety campaigns during the camping season. He commended the readiness and rapid response of security entities, highlighting their joint efforts in maintaining security and serving residents.
