The General Directorate of Civil Defence organised an awareness campaign, in cooperation with the Southern Governorate, targeting campers, vehicle owners and shop operators, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance fire safety and prevention requirements and raise awareness of the importance of complying with safety and security regulations across various locations.
The campaign was held as part of the events accompanying World Civil Defence Day, underscoring the importance of proactive prevention and reducing risks associated with the use of fire sources and electrical extensions in camps and mobile commercial sites, particularly during the desert season.
