The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, Major-General Adel Abdullah Amin, on the occasion of the Human Resources Directorate obtaining professional accreditation for the Happiness and Employee Engagement Team, as well as a professional certification in organisational happiness and employee engagement from the Society for Human Resource Management.
During the meeting, the Interior Ministry Undersecretary extended his sincere congratulations to the Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources and members of the Happiness and Employee Engagement Team, praising the achievement as a reflection of the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to adopting best international professional practices and standards in human capital management, and to fostering a positive work environment that supports creativity and institutional excellence.
He affirmed that investing in human resource development and enhancing capabilities represents a fundamental pillar in the Ministry’s ongoing development and modernisation process, in line with the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the follow-up of Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, contributing to the elevation of institutional performance and the delivery of high-quality security and administrative services in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism.
For his part, the Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources stated that obtaining this international accreditation is the result of sustained efforts in successfully implementing the organisational happiness and employee engagement management system in accordance with recognised professional standards and best practices in employee wellbeing, thereby strengthening a culture of engagement and reinforcing the principles of institutional wellbeing and organisational sustainability.
