His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, chaired the governorate security committee meeting. The committee discussed several topics on security and public safety, and reviewed preparations for seasons and events that witness large activities and gatherings.
The attendees reviewed a presentation by the Capital Governorate Police Directorate on security arrangements for the holy month of Ramadan. This included plans to intensify the allocating community police personnel at various events held in the governorate. The presentation also included the distribution of Iftar meals and to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
The presentation further addressed efforts to strengthen community engagement through visits to Ramadan Majalis and the direct communication channels with residents. This contributes to supporting community partnership, raising awareness, and enhancing security and stability during the holy month.
