His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Thursday the Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command and the U.S. Fifth Fleet, Vice Admiral Curt Renshaw, in the presence of the Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan.
HE the Interior Minister welcomed the US official and the accompanying delegation, praising the strategic partnership and the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, which continue to develop steadily across various fields, particularly in security cooperation. He highlighted the shared commitment to exploring new avenues for exchanging expertise and strengthening joint coordination.
During the meeting, discussions focused on bilateral security cooperation programmes and coordination efforts, with a view to advancing joint security work and serving the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.
