The General Directorate of Reformation and Rehabilitation, in cooperation with Government Hospitals, honoured a number of female inmates who participated in a “Life Management Skills” course, in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals.
On this occasion, the Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation underscored the importance of rehabilitation programmes in developing inmates’ life skills and strengthening their self-confidence, in a manner that supports their positive reintegration into society. He commended the constructive cooperation with Government Hospitals in implementing such valuable initiatives and supporting rehabilitation and training programmes within correctional institutions.
The course addressed a range of topics, including self-esteem, problem-solving, positive thinking, emotional management, goal-setting and planning, and relapse prevention in drug addiction. It also covered skills related to building healthy relationships and effective communication, among other purposeful themes aimed at empowering participants.
