The Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has arrested two individuals (aged 27 and 37) for misusing social media.
The two were found to have conducted live broadcasts and recorded video clips, which they published on their social media accounts in a manner constituting a legal violation, potentially harming security and public order and inciting public opinion.
The Directorate confirmed that legal procedures are being finalised to refer the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
