His Highness the Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, conducted an inspection visit to several shelter centres in the Southern Governorate to review their preparedness and ensure the efficiency of the procedures in place to protect safety of all.
During the visit, HH the Southern Governor was briefed on workflow and approved operational plans. He commended the efforts of the security teams at the Ministry of Interior, field teams and relevant entities in strengthening the rapid response system and addressing various situations in accordance with the highest standards of security and safety.
He affirmed the Southern Governorate’s commitment to consolidating the foundations of security and safety and to providing the best services to citizens and residents alike through continuous coordination and integration of roles among the competent authorities. He also stressed the importance of maintaining constant readiness, enhancing public awareness to help protect lives and property, improving service infrastructure efficiency, and ensuring swift responses at shelter centres.
He noted that these efforts fall within the Kingdom of Bahrain’s well-established approach to promoting the values of citizenship, reinforcing the principles of solidarity and community cohesion, and achieving the highest standards of service quality.
