His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Ministry of Interior. Upon arrival, His Majesty was received by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and senior officials at the ministry. His Majesty commended the important national role undertaken by the Ministry of Interior in strengthening security and stability and safeguarding the Kingdom’s achievements. His Majesty also commended the dedication and continued efforts of security personnel in carrying out their duties with professionalism, discipline, and responsibility to protect the community and ensure the safety of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that the people of Bahrain deeply appreciate their noble national service. His Majesty also praised the cooperation, joint work, and continuous coordination between the Ministry of Interior, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), the National Guard, and various military and security entities, noting that such cooperation consolidates the national security system and reinforces stability. His Majesty highlighted that this coordination reflects a national model based on unity of purpose and integrated efforts to protect the nation and preserve its achievements. His Majesty reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm position condemning the unprecedented and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran against the Kingdom and countries in the region. His Majesty stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has always been and will remain a nation of peace that has never sought hostility towards any country and has consistently pursued cooperation and good neighbourly relations. His Majesty extended appreciation to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, commending his efforts in leading development and modernisation across the ministry’s directorates. His Majesty also commended the dedication of the ministry’s officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel in performing their security duties, contributing to maintaining security and stability and supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development. His Majesty affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain will remain secure and stable and will continue advancing its development process through the unity and dedication of its people. On his part, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, said Bahrain’s police take pride in their loyalty to His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The minister underscored that Bahrain’s police remain dedicated to protecting the nation and carrying out their duties with professionalism, dedication, and sacrifice, noting that upholding the rule of law remains the foundation of efforts to maintain security and stability. The minister also underscored the continued commitment to safeguarding the nation’s security and addressing evolving security challenges. He noted that Bahrain’s police have demonstrated their capability to deal effectively with security challenges and renewed their pledge of loyalty to the leadership of His Majesty the King, with the support, directives, and follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
