The Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has arrested six individuals for posting videos related to the aftermath of the Iranian aggression, expressing sympathy and glorifying its hostile acts, in addition to spreading false information and inciting the targeting of sites in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Interior Ministry stated that the videos were circulated through their social media accounts, which could mislead public opinion, spread fear among citizens and residents, and undermine security and public order.
Legal procedures have been taken, and the arrested individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry of Interior urged everyone to obtain information from official sources and to refrain from posting or reposting unverified videos or news to avoid legal accountability and preserve the nation's security and safety.
