Southern Governorate holds virtual Majlis

His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa praised the speech by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which underscored the importance of strengthening national unity, reaffirming the approach of peace, and commending the vigilance of the security authorities in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability, with the follow-up of the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He affirmed that the residents of the Southern Governorate stand united amid the exceptional circumstances facing the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This came as HH the Southern Governor met, via videoconference, through the governorate’s virtual majlis, in the presence of officers, officials and residents of the Southern Governorate.

He and citizens also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in coordinating and cooperating with the relevant authorities to organise this year’s camping season. The Southern Governorate marked the conclusion of the camping season, which ran from 5 December 2025 until 2 March 2026. This year’s season witnessed distinguished organisation and a safe experience for all campers and visitors, through cooperation and coordination with the relevant authorities.

At the conclusion of the virtual majlis, residents expressed their thanks and appreciation for the consistent communication maintained by HH Southern Governor with residents and citizens across the governorate’s various areas, reflecting deeply rooted national cohesion.
