Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, expressed—on his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Muharraq—his sincere love and loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He praised the continuous support extended by His Majesty to the Bahrain Defence Force and its high competence in safeguarding the Kingdom’s sovereignty and confronting malicious Iranian threats. He also affirmed support for all measures taken by the government under the leadership of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
This came during the Muharraq Governorate Council meeting, attended by Deputy Governor Brigadier Jassim bin Mohammed Al Ghatam, Director-General of the Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Sultan bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council Abdulaziz Al Na’ar, along with a number of dignitaries and residents. The people of Muharraq renewed their strong condemnation of the malicious Iranian attacks, affirming that the Kingdom will continue to stand strong against threats.
During the council, the Governor praised His Majesty the King’s visit to those injured as a result of the hostile Iranian attacks, noting that the visit reflects a deeply rooted humanitarian approach that demonstrates the leadership’s closeness to its people and its constant concern for their well-being under all circumstances. He also commended the significant national role played by the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, and all relevant entities in protecting the Kingdom and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
In the residents’ remarks, Professor Isa Hijris praised the historic positions of the loyal Bahraini people, stressing that history will record these efforts and stances, and highlighting the high competence of the armed forces in dealing with the repercussions of these unjustified and brutal Iranian attacks.
Mr Mohammed Al Jazzaf, Chairman of the Board of Al Jazeera Cultural Centre, affirmed that the people of Bahrain stand united behind their leadership. Dr Ibrahim Mattar noted that, in light of these malicious Iranian attacks, the Kingdom of Bahrain has proven itself as an example of resilience and the ability to confront all challenges, with citizens continuing their daily lives normally and all services being provided without interruption. This, he said, confirms the readiness of the government, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to face all challenges and crises with steady steps and comprehensive crisis and emergency management plans.
In the same context, Dr Abdulaziz Suwaileh affirmed the Bahraini people’s firm stance against all threats, expressing full support for the measures taken by security authorities to protect the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and stability. Dr Khalid Bumtai highlighted the steadfastness of the Bahraini people, noting that the results of decades of diligent work by the wise leadership are evident today through the deep-rooted awareness displayed across all levels during times of crises and challenges.
Mr Abdulmonim Mohammed praised all the precautionary measures and proactive steps taken by government entities to safeguard the security and safety of citizens and residents. Mr Mohammed Al Gharib affirmed that Bahrain has nothing to fear under its wise leadership, emphasising that Bahrain has always been generous and will continue to be a beacon of peace and coexistence.
Mr Mohammed Jarrah Al Dosari concluded the residents’ remarks by affirming that the Bahraini people stand with their government in every step it takes, and that these brutal Iranian attacks have only strengthened the unity, cohesion, and resilience of the Bahraini people behind their country and wise leadership.
Director-General of the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Sultan bin Ahmed Al Kaabi confirmed that the security situation in the governorate is normal, noting the full readiness of all security agencies to address complaints and observations. He also stressed the importance of adhering to official instructions and guidance and refraining from spreading misinformation and rumours.
