His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa during the Southern Governorate weekly Majlis received a number of MPs, dignitaries, residents, and representatives of civil society institutions, in the presence of various officials.
At the outset of the meeting, HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, affirming the depth of partnership and joint coordination with various government entities to meet the needs of residents and fulfil their aspirations across different sectors, in implementation of the sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of the esteemed government, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
During the meeting, HH the Southern Governor praised the principle of continuous communication with the residents of the Southern Governorate through the weekly Majlis, expressing his pride in the governorate’s prominent historical and civilisational achievements that reflect the leading role of comprehensive development. He affirmed that meeting residents, listening to their ideas, and addressing their needs are among the governorate’s key priorities.
He also listened to a number of security, service and social observations and proposals raised by residents, affirming the close follow-up of all matters submitted through coordination with the relevant service entities, in a way that contributes to meeting their needs in various fields, with the aim of enhancing the level and quality of services provided, reflecting the developmental and sustainable progress witnessed across all areas of the Southern Governorate.
At the conclusion of the Majlis, the residents expressed their thanks and appreciation for the continuous communication maintained by HH Southern Governor and for his diligent follow-up of all development needs across the various areas of the Southern Governorate.
