His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Thursday the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Andrea Catalano, in the presence of the Chief of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan.
HE the Interior Minister welcomed the envoy and praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, particularly in the field of policing, highlighting the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in security.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral security cooperation programmes and several topics that contribute to the development of joint work. They also discussed regional and international developments, foremost among them the latest events taking place in the region.
