As part of the security efforts to combat human trafficking and reinforce the advanced international standing of the Kingdom of Bahrain in addressing such crimes, the Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Human Trafficking Directorate at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science had arrested an Asian woman for bringing a 17-year-old girl from outside the country and forcing her to engage in immoral acts.
The division explained that, upon receiving information about the incident, search and investigation operations were immediately launched, resulting in the identification and arrest of the woman. Legal procedures have been taken, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
