Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the Chief Executive Officer of the King Fahd Causeway Authority, Yousef bin Ibrahim Al Abdan.
At the start of the meeting, the Customs President was briefed on the organisation’s performance, with a focus on indicators of operational excellence, as well as follow-up on the Service Level Agreement concluded between Customs Affairs and the King Fahd Causeway General Organisation in 2025, and the distinguished results and record figures achieved through combined efforts and institutional integration.
The briefing also included a comprehensive review of the advanced services provided at the causeway, most notably the E-JESR digital transformation service and the JESR PLUS fast-track service, which aim to enhance operational system efficiency by leveraging the latest technologies, thereby accelerating procedures and reducing crossing times.
