During the sixth edition of Smart Cities Summit 2023, officials hailed the digital transformation efforts of the Interior Ministry. The accomplishments come as part of the support and directives of His Excellency Interior Ministry General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Deputy Chief of Public Security Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa highlighted smart systems projects and IA applications in smart cities.
Meanwhile, the Operations Directorate presented a paper on the technologies of the Operations Centre of the Interior Ministry, and the National, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) highlighted the characteristics of e-passports. The General Directorate of Traffic and Human Resources also took part.
