His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organisations led by Chief Executive Officer of the conference, William C. Daroff, on Wednesday. Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and Director-General of Media and Security Culture, Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina attended.
HE Interior Minister welcomed the delegation, highlighting that the visit comes to exchange views. He said that the National Action Charter represents the civilised and democratic approach of coexistence and peace culture. It promotes understanding, dialogue and humanitarian tolerance out of the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HE Interior Minister said that justice, coexistence and openness represent a solid foundation in Bahraini society to promote reform and national capabilities in facing challenges. He hailed the solid ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States to reinforce regional and international security and peace. He said that Bahrain is blessed with security and stability through a remarkable reduction in crime rates through measures that are based on community partnership and effective community security programmes and initiatives.
Meanwhile, the CEO expressed the delegation’s appreciation for meeting HE Interior Minister and discussing the importance of the Abraham Accord between Bahrain, Israel and the United States and the focus on common values between the two nations.
