The Interior Ministry asserted that as part of efforts to protect security and general order and safety, 16 individuals were arrested for illegal acts to promote chaos and vandalism. The required legal proceedings were taken, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution. The investigations revealed that such crimes were incited by individuals and organisations classified as terrorist entities. The Interior Ministry affirmed that it wouldn’t tolerate confronting, per the law, any practices or acts that could negatively affect civil peace and social fabric.
