Northern Governor hosts Ramadan majlis

MOI

The second Ramadan Majlis was held in the presence of a number of members of Parliament, clerics, the Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and a number of  dignitaries representing the Indian community, where everyone extended their congratulations for the month of Ramadan and emphasised that such councils held by Bahraini officials affirm the vision of His Majesty the King in coexistence among all Bahraini society components and enhance fraternal ties between the members of the same society, promoting coexistence and tolerance.

Despite the diversity of the attendance, Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor expressed satisfaction with the Ramadan Council, as it demonstrated the importance of conducting it to communicate with different groups within the Kingdom of Bahrain and learn how citizens feel about different aspects of life. Dr. Abdullah Mansour Radhi presented a poem dedicated to His Majesty the King. All attendees praised the artwork of artist Dr. Zainab Swar, presented to His Majesty the King.

At the Council, all participants stressed the importance of strengthening Bahrain's economy and opening more investment opportunities that will boost liquidity and create jobs, as well as the role that the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry plays by negotiating international deals and contracts in the local economy. The Northern Governor affirmed that the governorate intends to invest in the Formula Race in its upcoming sessions to promote tourism and to hold festivals that attract individuals and families in order to achieve the goal of promoting global sporting events that benefit all sectors.
