The General Directorate of Civil Defence will organise a Firefighter Challenge at the Avenues Mall from February 20 to 25.
The civil defence invites the public to attend the event, which includes various activities such as live displays of modern civil defence engines used in rescue and firefighting operations, performances by the police band, and an awareness platform for the public to share their inquiries about public safety. In addition to the competitions, interactive activities will be allocated for the public to enhance their role in supporting the efforts of civil defence, spreading the culture of safety, and encouraging volunteer work and community responsibility by enhancing positive interaction.
