Director-General of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa has received a Member of the Council Representatives, MP Hanan Fardan.
At the beginning of the meeting, he welcomed the MP, where they reviewed the role played by the General Directorate Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing in expanding Alternative Sanctions and Measures Law and the beginning of the open prisons programme per the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The MP expressed thanks and appreciation to the Director-General for efforts in implementing the law to reintegrate those covered in the alternative penalties into society.
