Northern Governor Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, presided the security committee meeting in the Governorate, in the presence of Deputy Northern Governor Brigadier Abdullah Ali Rashid Maanter , Director General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Saleh Rashid Fahad Al Dossari, and several members of the committee.
During the meeting, the Northern Governor congratulated His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, on the graduation of three batches from the Open Prisons Programme. He noted that the programme laid the foundation for the Alternative Penalties Project, aligned with the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He highlighted the project's role in advancing human rights in Bahrain and praised Bahraini Police Day for reflecting the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in upholding law, order, and the national development.
The meeting reviewed the schedule for Bahrain’s national holidays and the King’s accession. The Northern Governor praised the partnership with the private sector and public, emphasising that security coordination is vital for the success of the events.
