The accomplishment of several Interior Ministry directorates of winning the gold classification as part of the Government Services Centers Evaluation (Taqyeem4) programme was part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to enhance efficiency and performance.
On this occasion, the winning directorates, the National, Passports and Residence Affairs Centres (Isa Town and Security Complex), Customs Affairs (land, sea and air ports), General Directorate of Civil Defence (Security Complex), the General Directorate of Traffic ( Driving Learning School) and the Information and eGovernment Authority (Smart Card Centre in Isa Town), received the golden plaques.
The (Taqyeem4) serves as an incentive to enhance performance and efficiency, as the fourth round of the programme witnessed remarkable competition among government service centres, which confirms the extent of commitment to providing the best levels of service. Eighteen service centres were classified into the gold category and 6 service centres into the silver category, as the centres achieved high compliance rates, exceeding 90% of the basic criteria for evaluation, achieving an increase over the previous round by 34%.
