The Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa asserted the dedication to promote interaction with residents to meet their needs and listen to their complaints and demands to achieve the vision of the governorate of providing better living conditions and achieving sustainable development.
He said that the Capital Governorate has allocated many communication channels for residents to promote flexibility and speed up interaction with citizens and residents.
The governorate’s statistics revealed that 743 complaints, requests, and inquiries were received via various channels last year, 231 of which were received via the Inquiries and Complaints Office, 70 cases during weekly Majlis, 52 cases via social media, and 390 through the Tawasul Programme.
Head of Inquiries and Complaints Salman Al Shaikh said that 48% of cases were service-related, while 46% were social cases. He said that, per the instructions of the Capital Governor, the concerned team intensified field visits by visiting 45 sites to learn about the needs of citizens and residents.
