He noted that the Ministry of Interior’s signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard was in line with HE the Interior Minister’s instructions to adopt innovative initiatives and projects that strengthen the societal support system.
In this context, the Deputy Interior Minister highlighted the services provided by the Interior Ministry, especially in addressing the humanitarian needs of Bahraini women. These include the "Fael Khair initiative" implemented by the General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, the Family and Child Protection Offices at governorate police directorates, and the standardisation of procedural policies in dealing with relevant cases. He also noted the supportive and coordinating role of the governorates in providing community-based services.
