Muharraq Governor extends thanks and appreciation to HM the King on designating 2026 as “Year of Isa Al Kabeer”

The Muharraq Governor, Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, on behalf of all the people of Muharraq, extended his highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the Royal Order to designate this year as the “Year of Isa Al Kabeer”, in commemoration of the founder of the modern state and the leader of its institutional renaissance, His Greatness Isa Al Kabeer

He affirmed that Muharraq Governorate, with its deep historical roots and authentic national role, takes great pride in this Royal Order, which embodies loyalty to a leader who consolidated the pillars of stability, laid the foundations of the state and its legal and civil institutions, and contributed to Bahrain’s prosperity and progress across various fields.

The Governor noted that the Royal Order reflects HM the King’s keenness to strengthen the national memory and honour the historic figures who shaped the nation’s glory. He added that the development projects and efforts to preserve the historical and cultural identity of the ancient city of Muharraq are a continuation of this authentic national approach. He also expressed the deep appreciation of the people of the Governorate for the national and pioneering role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in leading the course of government work, as well as for sincere and continuous efforts to advance comprehensive development and support projects and initiatives that positively impact the nation and its citizens and contribute to consolidating Bahrain’s path of progress and prosperity.
